These differing views of the human condition are strikingly dissimilar. This study of StandingMale Figure with Nails (Nkisi Nkondi) and Reliquary of Sainte Foy yield a greater appreciation for each piece. Here, we conducted analysis of both comparison and contrast to seek a deeper understanding of their meaning. These sculptures represent two ways of honoring the human condition.
